When you choose a place to stay for your holiday from a commercial concern you never quite know what to expect. There is no-one with personal pride or responsibility for the property or its contents. It's a bit hit and miss.

With a privately owned apartment like ours, which is our pride and joy, we describe it just as we see it. We would like to see the same people returning time and again and recommending us to others. We have no advantage in misrepresenting ourselves or the property and its environs.

We chose the apartment complex carefully, we think it is amongst the best in the resort, and were lucky to eventually find just what we wanted on the market. We holiday in the apartment ourselves whenever possible and we aim to keep it as we wish to find it. It is also visited by family and friends whom we definitely would not want to disappoint.

If anything breaks down we fix it, if we can't fix it or it wears out we replace it, if it needs brightening up we paint it and if it can be improved we improve it.

By taking your holiday in our apartment, whether you decide to self-cater, eat out or a combination of the two, you can be certain that, provided the last visitors didn't abuse our trust, the apartment is as we would wish it for ourselves.

And should anything go wrong during your stay, we have contacts in the area who can resolve matters for us.

The photographs on the site are real, either I or my brother took them. We truly enjoy the quiet resort and beautiful island. There is still much there for us to see and do and we never tire of days in the mountains, going to see whales, a few G&Ts by the pool and watching the sun set from the balcony.

The island operates on Spanish time, which is nice and slow. The local traders and restaurateurs are always friendly and soon get to know you. They speak at least enough English not to cause misunderstandings (although they appreciate any attempt, however small, at using their language). There are some bars and restaurants staffed by English ex-pats should you prefer.

By choosing our privately owned apartment you can be confident that you will have a comfortable stay in a well equipped and well maintained premises.
